  • Your Webroot Identity Safe Local Vault is not deleted by the tool
  • This tool does not remove Webroot antivirus products offered by service providers such as Comcast and Deutsche Telekom.


Run the Webroot Remove & Reinstall Tool (Uninstall & reinstall Webroot Antivirus Product)

  • Download the Webroot Remove & Reinstall tool. Save the file to your Windows desktop. Some browsers automatically save the file to the default location. The browser settings can be used to change the file's location.
  • Press the Ctrl+J key to open the Downloads window within your browser.
  • Double-click on the NRnR icon.
  • Click Agree to read the license agreement.
  • Click Remove & Reinstall. If your Webroot product is provided by your service provider, you may see the Remove Only button. Click/Tap to Remove Only.
  • Click Continue or Remove.
  • Click on Restart Now.
Follow the instructions on screen to reinstall Webroot after the computer restarts.

Notice: If you have Webroot installed you should uninstall it before running the Webroot Remove & Reinstall tool.
